The internal structure of the DILETTA Passport Workstation Two has been designed to realise an ultra-compact size for extremely short travels of the passport within the machine. It requires only a limited installation space - so it can be set up freely. The special design of the internal structure made it possible to accommodate the functions in a compact and simple form without wasting space. Its compact size allows installation in any location and movement through any door frame.

Four different systems - according to your requirements

You can order the Workstation Two in four different combinations - depending on the requirements of your passport. Two variants for passports with a security paper or Duresafe data page (Inkjet) and two variants for passports with a polycarbonate data page (Hybrid laser plus inkjet). In all variants, you can personalise both the data page and the opposite page in one go.

Both the paper and polycarbonate versions can be equipped with a second optional inkjet unit for printing invisible full-colour fluorescent photos. Below we describe the two versions - inkjet only and hybrid laser plus inkjet. Our team will be happy to advise you or you can visit one of our showrooms.

Inkjet Personalisation - Colour print perfection

For those who demand the highest print quality, DILETTA Passport Workstation Two - Inkjet is an excellent choice. Each printed page has laser-sharp outlines and clearly defined shades. Top quality printing on all types of security paper, using dye inks and/or fully pigmented inks and/or invisible fluorescent inks. Not only is the printing of machine-readable lines and visuale zones of the highest quality, but also the printing of colour photographs is impressive. This is achieved by the high performance of the print head, which has a resolution of 1200 dpi (dots per inch). The DILETTA Passport Workstation Two sets the professional standard for colour printing in the passport issuing office.

Hybrid Laser and Inkjet Personalisation

The DILETTA Passport Workstation Two - Hybrid combines the best technologies and features from laser engraving, colour inkjet and invisible full-colour fluorescent inkjet personalisation in one device. The installed laser and the supplied software create incredibly fine greyscale gradations, making the image of the passport holder on the polycarbonate page appear lifelike. Using the inkjet unit, further information can be printed in full colour. Optionally, the Workstation Two can be equipped with an additional fluorescent UV ink unit. This enables the invisible full-colour printing of further information and thus makes it more difficult to forge the passport.
