Application

The DILETTA keyboard families are designed for airline passenger check-in and boarding gate document and card reading. Approved for SITA CUTE, ARINC MUSE, Ultra CUSE and RESA CREWS the keyboards can be adapted to add a new host or to support non-standard cards such as loyalty or frequent flyer and special dedicated formats. To ensure flexibility for the future, new firmware to add and modify features can be down-loaded to the unit.

General Description

The DILETTA compact keyboards are fitted with an integrated 4 track magnetic swipe reader and dual illumination OCR reader. The MSR reader performs bidirectional reading of ticket and boarding pass coupons and ISO encoded credit card data. The document exit is inboard of the keyboard so that the unit can be operated where space is limited and within a footprint 20% smaller than competing products. The ergonomically designed document channel is fitted with a smooth wear-resistant stainless steel guide and achieves reliable reading at fast and slow swipe speeds.

The integrated dual illumination OCR reader reads documents conforming to ICAO 9303 and IATA Recommended Practice 1720a including direct thermally printed ATB documents and IATA 2of5 format bar codes.

Options

The ATB420 and ATB421 can be fitted with an optional wand or decoded barcode scanner port for connection of barcode reading devices

An integrated PS/2 Mouse compatible pointing device.
